The Ignis UK equity team manages around GBP5.9bn across a range of retail and institutional portfolios. As well as helping manage the portfolios within the eight-strong UK equity team, Bhogaita will be responsible for covering the consumer goods, property and construction and financial services sectors.

Graham Ashby, head of UK equities, says: “I am delighted to welcome Mira to Ignis. We have significantly strengthened our UK equity proposition and Mira’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to enhancing our capabilities. Having worked with Mira before at LV=, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Asset Management, I know what a talented investment professional she is and I am very confident the team will benefit from her skill and experience.”
