Invesco strengthens Multi Asset team with two key appointments

RELATED TOPICS

Invesco, the asset management firm with USD1.5 trillion in assets under management globally, has made two appointments into its UK multi asset team: Benjamin Jones, who joins as Director of Macro Research, and Fabio Faltoni, as Product Director.

As Director of Macro Research, Jones will lead the macro research for the multi asset team, providing a broad macro framework alongside targeted investment ideas.

Jones joins from State Street Global Markets, where he spent 15 years, initially as Equity Strategist and, from 2013, as Senior Multi Asset Strategist. In this role, he was responsible for shaping the team’s tactical asset allocation framework, equity views including style, regional and sector ideas, and commodity views. He is also a CFA charterholder.

As Product Director, Faltoni will represent the products and capabilities of the multi asset team in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, promoting understanding of the process, philosophy and performance of funds managed by the team. He will be responsible for managing client and consultant relations alongside his distribution colleagues.

Before joining Invesco, Faltoni spent five years as a Multi Asset & Macro Investment Specialist at Aviva Investors. In this role, he worked closely with portfolio managers to articulate their investment processes, portfolio positioning and performance to clients and global consultants in Europe, UK and Asia.

David Millar, Head of Multi Asset at Invesco, says: “In the current low-yield environment, investors seeking stable returns face challenges. Clients are looking for genuinely diversified portfolios built with strong, long-term investment ideas across asset classes, geographies and sectors.

“As we grow the team, we are delighted to welcome people of such skill and experience as Benjamin and Fabio who understand well the evolving and increasingly complex needs of investors.”
