Kames Capital strengthens fixed income investment team

RELATED TOPICS

Kames Capital has strengthened its fixed income investment capabilities with the appointment of Grace Le who joins as a trainee investment grade bond manager, reporting to Stephen Snowden who leads Kames’ non-financial investment grade bond team.

Le will be based in the firm’s Edinburgh office.

Before joining Kames, Le was a senior associate – risk assurance/audit at PwC in London with responsibility for supporting the audit functions at various financial institutions. She also provided major institutions with assurance over their P&L attribution and reporting processes as well as detection of abusive trading behaviour.

Prior to PwC Le was an intern at Schneider Trading where she analysed financial data and news to predict its effect on stock and bond markets.

Kames Capital head of fixed income David Roberts says: ‘Although this is Grace’s first job in fund management she has clearly demonstrated a good level of understanding of financial markets in her previous roles and we feel she has the right skills set and aptitude to be a great asset to the team both now and in the future. Grace joins us at an exciting time. Our fixed income asset base continues to expand rapidly and we expect the size of the team to increase further in coming weeks and months.’
