RELATED TOPICS

Kames Capital has strengthened its fixed income team with the appointment of Adrian Hull.

Hull joins as a fixed income product specialist, reporting to Kames head of fixed income David Roberts.

He will work closely with the fund managers and the institutional and retail sales teams as the business looks to further develop its fixed income offering and presence in the UK and Continental European markets.

Hull has 20 years’ experience in fixed income markets, the latter part as head of sterling trading and sales at Mizuho International, where he established a sterling corporate bond trading and sales desk.

Prior to Mizuho, Hull was at Nomura International again as head of sterling trading and sales. He was previously head of UK sales at ABN Amro Bank.

Roberts says: “The position of fixed income product specialist is a new role for Kames Capital and one that is aimed at strategically bridging the role of the fund manager and the sales teams as we look to develop our fixed income proposition in UK and increasingly in Europe. Adrian’s vast knowledge of the market and 20 years’ experience make him ideally suited to this key role as we continue to build our business.”
