Kames Capital has appointed Carly Norris (pictured) as institutional relationship manager. Reporting into Peter Ball, director of institutional business at Kames, Norris will be based in the firm’s London office.
Norris has over 10 years’ experience in financial services. She joins Kames from global investment manager Janus Capital International, where she was consultant relations manager within the firm’s institutional sales team since 2012. Before this, Carly spent two years as institutional business associate at Janus.
At Kames, Carly joins the eight-strong institutional business team, and will work with existing clients, consultants and prospects.
Ball says: “Our institutional business is growing strongly and we have won 44 new institutional mandates since the beginning of 2014, covering strategies as diverse as absolute return, core fixed income, high yield bonds, property, global equities and multi-asset. We continue to strengthen the team to support our future growth and we welcome Carly as the latest addition to the team. She is an experienced relationship manager, with a good understanding of the needs of institutional investors and consultants.”
