RELATED TOPICS

Kaufmann-Rothstein International, a commodity futures trading service provider focused on alternative investment programs, has created a special managed futures service division, particularly designed to help high-net worth and institutional investors accomplish diversification objectives by offering them products and services that are characteristically non-associated with traditional investment portfolios.

The new Managed Futures Service Division will be managed by the newly promoted Managing Director, Edward Sammons.

“Mr Sammons is expected to share his expertise in both commodity related products and services as well as on managed futures sector,” says Lindsay Kornemann, the Chief Operating Officer of Kaufmann-Rothstein International. “His trading experience and expertise and consultative approach to managed futures investment programs, along with our access to various Commodity Trading Advisors around the globe and our business integrity and operational capabilities will allow us to provide our global investors with wide-ranging products and service.”

Kornemann adds: “While we recognized that the asset flow in the sector of managed futures has tremendously increased over the past few years, we also consider that there is still need for us that is able to offer an advance-giving means to managed futures portfolios.

“Our main objective is not to offer a cookie-cutter type of investment portfolios to investors, but to take a closer look at the investors’ investment profiles and portfolios to settle on the explicit allocation that is most suitable for the investors. This new approach is particularly appealing to high net worth and institutional investors that need to meet specific requirements of portfolios."

The new Managed Futures Service division will closely work with high-net worth trading investors, pensions, family office and endowment funds that are attracted in adding up managed futures to their existing investment portfolios. Furthermore, Kaufmann-Rothstein International through its global affiliates will provide clearing and trading execution services for professional traders, Commodity Trading Advisors and fund of funds.
