LaSalle appoints Martin Jochem as joint MD of newly licensed KAG in Germany

RELATED TOPICS

LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Martin Jochem as joint Managing Director of LaSalle Investment Management’s newly licensed investment vehicle La Salle Kapitalanlagegesellschaft (LaSalle KAG) in Munich, Germany. He will be jointly responsible along with Ulrich Nack, also Managing Director, for overseeing the operations of LaSalle KAG.

LaSalle recently announced that the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) had approved the formation of a capital investment company for specialist investment funds. The main target group is institutional investors in Germany, as well as in Austria and Switzerland, who will now have the opportunity to benefit from the global service infrastructure of LaSalle via German funds.

Jochem, 57, is a qualified lawyer in Frankfurt and a member of the Supervisory Board of GIG Grundbesitz Immobilien AG in Munich. He has many years of experience in the real estate capital investment market.

Claus Thomas (pictured), Regional Director of LaSalle GmbH and a member of the Supervisory Board of LaSalle KAG, says: “In Martin Jochem we have gained another exceptionally experienced investment expert who will form a formidable team alongside Ulrich Nack as joint Managing Directors of our new investment vehicle.”
