Legal & General Investment Management has appointed Siobhan Boylan as chief financial officer subject to regulatory approval. She will report to Mark Zinkula, chief executive officer.

Boylan joins LGIM from Aviva North America (ANA), where she was previously chief financial officer based in Chicago with responsibility for the firm’s US and Canadian finance functions.

Prior to this Boylan held a number of senior finance roles within the Aviva Group and was CFO of Aviva Investors from 2007 to 2011, immediately prior to her move to the US.

Zinkula says: “Siobhan joins us at an exciting time for our business. Our international expansion is gaining momentum as we experience increasing demand for our range of strategies. Siobhan’s experience as an internationally focused CFO will be a great asset to the business and I look forward to working with her.”

Boylan says: “I am delighted to join LGIM at this point in its expansion. This is a business with a tremendous potential for growth and in my new role I hope to use my experience to help Mark and the Board drive the best from the business and capitalise on the many opportunities open to LGIM.”
