Lockton, the world’s largest privately-owned independent insurance broker, has appointed Andrzej Danyluk as Head of International Property within the Wholesale Property & Casualty (P&C) division.

In his new role in London, Danyluk will be responsible for developing and growing the international property portfolio of clients in close collaboration with Lockton’s international offices and partners.

Danyluk joins from Willis Towers Watson (WTW), where he led the International Property team in Great Britain. Prior to working for WTW, Danyluk spent almost four years at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), where he latterly served as Head of the Power and Renewable Energy Broking team.

At Lockton, Danyluk is set to expand the strong international property portfolio in London, reporting into Simon Scholfield, Head of Wholesale P&C. He will work in close partnership with Lockton’s rapidly growing international offices to support both new and existing clients.

This appointment is another signal of Wholesale P&C’s intent to attract the best talent in the London market. The Wholesale P&C business has grown exponentially in recent years, and will continue to do so as Lockton drives forward its ambitious global expansion plans. Danyluk’s appointment is the latest in a number of recent strategic senior wholesale hires in recent months which will help Lockton to continue to deliver outstanding results for its clients, as well as shape the next stage in this constantly evolving space.

Simon Scholfield, Head of Wholesale P&C at Lockton, says: “I am delighted with the addition of Andrzej. We are now perfectly positioned to take our international wholesale property growth to the next level. Strategically targeted people investments in our retail space across the globe during the last 18 months have enabled us to significantly accelerate our wholesale offering. Andrzej’s depth of experience will enhance and strengthen our client offering whilst supporting the team in continuing to challenge the market with new products and lateral placement solutions”.

Danyluk adds: “Lockton is known for the strength of its long-term relationships with clients and the quality of the client service it provides. I am delighted to be joining the team during this exciting phase of significant international expansion, to support our new and existing colleagues around the World in further developing and growing Lockton’s strengthening portfolio of international property clients in London.”
