MainStay Investments has expanded its Institutional Intermediary Business with the appointment of Lance Oman and Greg Zipoli as senior regional vice presidents.

Both will lead sales efforts in the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Private Bank channels. Oman will cover the Western region and Zipoli will cover the North Central region.

“With their combined four decades of experience building relationships, supporting clients and driving business development, we are thrilled to welcome Lance and Greg to the Institutional Intermediary team and look forward to the value they will bring to MainStay,” says Brendan Gundersen (pictured), managing director and head of MainStay’s Institutional Intermediary Business. “Lance joined us with an incredibly strong background in ETFs and active funds and he brings new depth to our sales effort with large RIAs and private banks. Over the past 20 years, Greg has built deep experience selling custody and both active and passive investment solutions to RIAs, representing new perspectives and relationships which will help drive business.”

“Our goal for this year was to position our Institutional Intermediary Business for success and I am very pleased to report that we have made great strides in achieving this ambition, not the least of which includes the bench of new talent we have hired this year in DCIO and across the private bank and RIA channels,” says Stephen Fisher, president of New York Life Investment Management and MainStay Investments. “We are committed to delivering best in class products and solutions to our clients and are well-positioned to capitalise on the promising business opportunities in the marketplace as a result of the strong foundation we continue to build.”

Oman joins MainStay with over 20 years of experience in financial services. Most recently he served in relationship management and business development roles with Fidelity Investments and prior to that at Trust Company of the West.
