Manulife Asset Management hires Michael J Mahoney as MD Taft-Hartley Sales

Manulife Asset Management has added Michael J Mahoney to the firm's US distribution team as Managing Director, Taft-Hartley Sales. 

Based in Boston, he reports to Frank Saeli, Head of Sales, Relationship Management & Global Distribution Services. 

"Mike brings extensive Tart-Hartley and industry experience to our team, and we are pleased to welcome him as we continue to expand and invest in our institutional business," says Saeli. "We have a growing book of North American Taft-Hartley business, and we look forward to bringing Mike's expertise to bear in developing unique investment solutions for our US-based clients."

Most recently, Mahoney was with Clearbrook Global Advisors LLC, a New York-based investment consulting firm, where he served as Managing Director, responsible for Business Development and Consulting Services. Prior to joining Clearbrook, he was Senior Vice President at Pyramis Global Advisors, responsible for Taft-Hartley Business Development and Client Service. Mahoney also has held senior positions with ULLICO Investment Company, HGK Asset Management, Harbor Capital Management and Mellon Institutional Asset Management.  He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
