Rothschild & Cie Gestion has appointed Marc Romano as chief executive officer of Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions, the new entity resulting from the merger of its multi-management activities with HDF Finance.
Pierre Lenders left his position as chief executive as of 7 September to pursue other personal interests. He will continue to collaborate with Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions within the framework of an agreement of cooperation with his company Prius in the field of socially responsible investment.

Romano was chief executive of Schröders NewFinance Capital, a subsidiary of Schröders plc, specialised in alternative multi-management. Previously he held diverse senior positions in the Crédit Agricole group, including chief executive of all the multi-management activities of Crédit Agricole Asset Management, deputy chief executive of Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management and managing director of Calyon.
