Meketa Investment Group (Meketa), a global investment consulting and advisory firm, has appointed Tammy Wood as Chief Marketing Officer and Margret Duvall as Director of Communications and Sales, effective 4 January. Wood is based in Meketa’s Portland office and Duvall in the firm’s Chicago office. Both are filling newly created positions for the firm.

Prior to joining Meketa, Wood was Director of Marketing and Business Development at Pacific Ridge Capital Partners. She previously served at Russell Investments, Fisher Investments, Mercer, and Aequitas Capital Partners. Ms. Wood earned a BA in Business Administration, Finance and Marketing from the University of Washington. As Chief Marketing Officer, Wood will be responsible for developing and executing Meketa’s marketing and business development strategy, reporting to the firm’s co-CEOs.

Duvall most recently served in the Outsourced Chief Investment Officer practice at Northern Trust for 15 years. She earned a BA in English from Oberlin College and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. As Director of Communications and Sales, Duvall will be responsible for developing and managing a communications strategy for Meketa’s business units, focused on enhancing the quality of Meketa client, prospect, and marketplace communications materials. She will report to Ms. Wood.
