Mourant Ozannes tops list of offshore law firms advising FTSE companies

RELATED TOPICS

Mourant Ozannes advises significantly more FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies than any other offshore law firm, according to the latest rankings published by Adviser Rankings Limited (ARL).

The rankings show that Mourant Ozannes advises more FTSE 100 clients than all of its global competitors combined.  The market capitalisation of Mourant Ozannes’ FTSE clients is also significantly greater than that of all other offshore law firms combined.

The Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide published by ARL contains details of institutional advisers and their clients quoted on the London Stock Exchange and Alternative Investment Market. The data used is drawn from primary sources and the latest rankings reflect the position at 7 August 2013.

Mourant Ozannes’ partner James Hill says: "The Corporate Advisers Rankings guide is one of the most important and widely read publications for the independent financial advisory sector. We are delighted, of course, to be listed as the leading offshore law firm for FTSE clients. Above all we are pleased to be recognised as having the strength and depth of knowledge and expertise necessary to attract the quality of clients we work with."

Mourant Ozannes has been legal adviser in some of the most significant deals over the past 12 months, including deals involving Polyus Gold, Glencore Xstrata and the Stanley Gibbons Group.
