Seema Hingorani has been appointed Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
Hingorani will play a critical role for MSIM’s business, leading efforts with respect to diversity, talent development and client relationships. At MSIM, she will be the architect of a new training and development program for junior investing talent across the entire investment platform. She will also be a Senior Relationship Manager for many of MSIM’s largest and most important Institutional clients.
Hingorani is the founder of Girls Who Invest, a rapidly growing non-profit organisation that is changing the landscape of the industry by bringing more women into investing and portfolio management roles.
Prior to her role at Girls Who Invest, Hingorani was the Chief Investment Officer for the New York City Retirement System. Her experience and industry leadership will be critical as MSIM deliver value to their clients and her work will complement the ongoing efforts of MSIM’s Diversity Council.
