Neuberger Berman Group has appointed Eli M Salzmann as manager for the Neuberger Berman Partners Fund and the Neuberger Berman AMT Partners Portfolio, effective immediately.
Salzmann, 47, who joined the firm in January 2011 as a managing director and portfolio manager specializing in US large cap value equity strategies, will continue to manage the Neuberger Berman Large Cap Value Fund (tickers: NVAAX, NVACX, NLRLX) and our fundamental Large Cap Value strategy for institutional clients.
In total, Salzmann will manage over USD2.2 billion in assets for institutional and individual investors.
“We’re delighted to have Eli Salzmann take the helm of one of Neuberger Berman’s largest and longstanding mutual funds,” says Joseph Amato, Neuberger Berman’s president and chief investment officer for equities. “Eli is a highly regarded portfolio manager with over 20 years of investment experience.”
Additionally, Michael C Greene has been appointed manager of the Neuberger Berman Regency Fund (tickers: NBRAX, NBRCX, NBRTX, NBRVX, NBREX, NBRRX), the Neuberger Berman AMT Regency Portfolio, and associated sub-advised accounts, effective immediately.
Greene, 52, is managing director and portfolio manager within The Greene Group, one of over 40 distinct investment teams within Neuberger Berman. Including the new portfolio management duties, Greene and his colleagues will manage over $2.4 billion across mid, small, and all cap value strategies using their intrinsic value approach. “Michael and his team provide significant depth of research and experience in the mid-cap space,” Amato says. “We are pleased to make their strategy available to the broader marketplace.”
