Nikko AM appoints new global executive committee

Nikko Asset Management (Nikko AM) has appointed six Senior Corporate Managing Directors who will join Junichi Sayato, Chairman and Co-CEO, and Hideo Abe, President and Co-CEO, in supporting the management of the company, effective 1 May. 

Each newly appointed Senior Corporate Managing Director will be responsible for a specified part of the business, and assist the Co-CEOs on all relevant matters. Through this new organisational arrangement, the firm will further strengthen its management systems, appropriately delegate authority, and thereby speed up business execution.

Appointed as Executive Vice Presidents are Yuji Ooyagi, Hiroki Tsujimura, and Osamu Morita, while Kunihiro Asai, Stefanie Drews, and Maho Nakada have bene appointed as Senior Corporate Managing Directors.
 
The above six Senior Corporate Managing Directors, in conjunction with Junichi Sayato and Hideo Abe, will constitute the firm’s Global Executive Committee.
