Ocorian appoints Chief Operating Officer

Ocorian, a specialist in fund administration, capital markets, corporate and fiduciary services has appointed Carole Murphy as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

As COO, Murphy is responsible for leading Ocorian’s global IT and Operations functions at a time of major business growth and transformation. 

Murphy says “I am excited about joining Ocorian as I see a real desire to put our clients at the centre of everything we do in support of our ambitious growth imperative. I am looking forward to working with our global team to understand how technology can be a true enabler of success for our Group.” 

Murphy reports to Ocorian’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Frederik van Tuyll, who says: “Carole has outstanding experience and credentials. She has successfully delivered major transformations for leading companies and brings deep expertise in global business services and operations to what is an instrumental role for Ocorian. Her clarity of approach and focus on deliverables are an asset to our Group as we pursue ambitious global growth plans.”

Murphy joins Ocorian from Capgemini where she was Head of Business Transformation Services and Head of the Finance and Accounting practice. Her career has focused on the accounting and finance industry, and she draws on a professional background which began in legal practice, moved into accounting, then transformation and business services. As COO of Ocorian her role draws on all aspects of her expertise and experience to date.
