Osborne Clarke advises Berenberg and Grant Thornton on GBP163m Alpha Financial Markets Consulting AIM IPO

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Joh Berenberg, Gossler & Co KG, London branch, and Grant Thornton UK on the successful GBP163 million AIM market IPO of Alpha Financial Consulting Group plc, a provider of specialist consultancy services to the asset and wealth management industry.

Berenberg is acting as global coordinator and broker, and Grant Thornton is acting as nominated adviser. Admission is expected to become effective on 11 October 2017.
 
The placing raised a total of GBP125 million (before expenses) for the Company and selling shareholders and marks a successful exit for private equity sponsor Dunedin LLP.
 
The Osborne Clarke team which advised on the transaction was led by Partners Jonathan King and Rebecca Gordon, who were assisted by Senior Associate Kate Mellor and Associate Stuart Miller.
