OTC Markets Group launches new OTCQX Indexes

RELATED TOPICS

OTC Markets Group has launched the OTCQX Composite Index, the OTCQX US Index and OTCQX International Index, benchmarks for measuring the performance of transparent, investor-friendly US and international companies on the OTCQX marketplace.

The new OTCQX indexes, which are denominated in US dollars and calculated on a total return and price return basis, are comprised of US and international companies that have met the stringent requirements for trading on OTCQX, including high financial standards, current disclosure in English in the US, sponsorship by a professional third-party advisor and, for international companies, listing on a qualified foreign stock exchange.

"Investors interested in tracking the performance of established, global and growth companies traded our OTCQX marketplace now have a comprehensive solution with our OTCQX Composite, OTCQX US and OTCQX International Indexes," says R Cromwell Coulson, President and CEO of OTC Markets Group.  "These new indexes provide institutional asset managers the benchmarks they need to make informed decisions and highlight OTCQX companies as a more attractive asset class for a wider range of investors."
