Large-cap value investment manager Institutional Capital has announced that Paula L. Rogers has been promoted to the position of president, effective 6 May.

In this newly created position, Rogers (pictured) will assume oversight responsibility for all business development, client service and operational areas of ICAP. In addition, she will remain a member of the firm’s investment management committee, reporting directly to Jerrold K. Senser, ICAP’s chief executive officer and chief investment officer.

"Paula’s promotion is in recognition of her 12 years of outstanding service to ICAP. She has played a critical role in our company’s growth over the past decade and we look forward to her continued contributions in this new leadership position," says Senser.

With over 28 years of experience, Rogers was with Goldman Sachs, Northern Trust and Eastman Kodak prior to joining ICAP.

With Rogers’ elevation to president, Scott E. Weisenberger has been promoted to director of business development and client service. The senior vice president with ICAP has over 25 years of industry experience. He will report directly to Rogers in his new role.

"These promotions within our organisation are emblematic of ICAP’s culture of continuity in terms of its people and its process. I congratulate both Paula and Scott on their new responsibilities," says Senser.
