Pictet strengthens UK institutional business development team

Pictet Asset Management has appointed Roger Price-Haworth as head of institutional business development for UK and Ireland.

Based in London Price-Haworth (pictured) will focus on developing Pictet Asset Management’s institutional business across the region.
 
Price-Haworth joins from BNP Paribas Investment Partners, where he was head of UK institutional business. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and has previously headed UK institutional business development teams at both Pioneer Global Investments and Insight Investments.
 
Anahita Firouzbakht has also joined Pictet as consultant relations manager in the global consultant relations team. Also based in London, she will report to Fawzy Salarbux, head of global consultants.
 
Firouzbakht joins from Partners Group, where she focused on developing relationships with both global and local consultants to profile and distribute Partners Group investment funds across Europe.
 
Christoph Lanter, head of institutional business development at Pictet Asset Management, says: “These two hires will strengthen our institutional business development teams both in the UK and globally at a time when institutions and their advisors are looking for higher levels of service from asset managers.”
