Pier 21 Asset Management launches Parade Street Investments

RELATED TOPICS

Pier 21 Asset Management has launched Parade Street Investments, a new investment offering which will be home to select and exclusive global sub-advisers.

Since its inception in 2005, Pier 21 has grown to USD3 billion in assets under management with its original suite of sub-advisers.

Parade Street Investments will facilitate a continued focus on operational excellence, product knowledge and dedicated service to the institutional marketplace with an additional suite of exclusive sub-advisers.

"It takes great depth of understanding, keen oversight and diligent focus to undertake these exclusive relationships with sub-advisers," says David Star, president and CEO of Pier 21 Asset Management. "Of course we take this responsibility seriously, and want our business model to reflect our commitment to these relationships."

The new offering will be developed under the guidance of Pierre Collins, who joined Pier 21 as senior vice president and general manager of Parade Street Investments on 11 August.

Parade Street Investment's first partnership is with London-based global equity specialist Taube Hodson Stonex Partners (THS Partners). Established in 1997, this independent boutique's “Global Compare and Contrast” approach delivers a benchmark-agnostic portfolio of approximately 70 of the best and cheapest developed market, all-capitalisation stocks across 15 growth themes.

"Parade Street Investments will continue to seek out sub-advisory partnerships that meet our clients' evolving needs, and that fit with Pier 21's mandate to bring skilful, effective investment expertise onto our playing field," says Collins. "We will be adding further complementary strategies to the Parade Street offering as we move forward."
