Quilter Cheviot makes three hires

RELATED TOPICS

Quilter Cheviot has made a triple appointment of former Brooks Macdonald employees, bringing the total of new investment managers to join the business since the start of the year across its 12 offices to 11.

Most recently Jennifer Innes joined Quilter Cheviot’s Edinburgh office as an Investment Manager from Brooks Macdonald, where she had been for five years. Innes will initially focus her attention on local financial adviser community, helping to build on the strong relationships the firm has within the marketplace.

Helen Brien has assumed a new role, as of Head of Middle Office; she also joins from Brooks Macdonald where she was Head of Investment Management Support for over ten years. Brien’s appointment and the implementation of a middle office is a result of the business reviewing ways in which it can create more efficient working practices and processes to enhance the service offered to financial advisers and clients.

In addition, the firm has introduced its first Telephone Account Manager to the sales team, Monica Bungar, who also worked at Brooks Macdonald for four years. Bungar will work alongside Quilter Cheviot’s London Regional Development Managers, helping to identify and initiate new business opportunities within the financial adviser community.

Andrew McGlone, Chief Executive of Quilter Cheviot says: “I am really pleased to welcome Helen, Jennifer and Monica; they have joined at an exciting time for the business and I wish them all the very best as they start their careers with Quilter Cheviot. I am equally pleased to see that we continue to attract the highest standard of specialists irrespective of their area of expertise. As our investment management team continues to expand, it is important that we build on the infrastructure that supports them.”
