RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) has appointed a new Director of Asia Client Coverage, Serene Sun. Based in Hong Kong, Sun will report into Mayur Nallamala, Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Asian Equities.
In her role, Sun will be responsible for the coverage of Asia ex-Japan regional clients, as well as prospective sales and marketing activities for the Asia Global Asset Management team.
Mayur Nallamala says: “Serene’s appointment will allow us to continue to strengthen our presence within the region and meet our clients’ needs. She brings a wealth of relevant experience from her previous roles and we are excited to have her join the team.”
Before joining RBC GAM, Sun was most recently Vice President of Client Business for BlackRock in Hong Kong where she was responsible for business development and relationship management for China institutional distributors after relocating from BlackRock’s Singapore office covering South East Asia based clients. Sun has a BBA (Fin and Acc, Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
