Long-term funds had net sales of USD436m and money market funds had net redemptions of USD48m.

Assets under management increased by 1.9 per cent.

"July proved to be a positive month as we continued to capture a significant portion of industry long-term mutual fund net sales," says Doug Coulter, president of RBC Global Asset Management. "Investors and advisors appear to be shifting to more balanced products and as a result, our Select Conservative and Select Balanced portfolios saw strong inflows as attractive solutions for long-term growth."
