Inches joined the company on 12 January and will be joint fund manager for RLAM’s gilt and index linked bond funds.

He joins RLAM after an 11 year career at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. At SWIP, he built up a strong track record across a wide range of fixed interest funds, being appointed fixed income investment director in 2003.

Rayner says: "We are delighted to welcome Craig to RLAM, where his extensive experience of managing sovereign bonds will be a real asset to our highly regarded fixed interest team."

Inches adds: "I’m excited about joining the RLAM team. RLAM has a range of excellent fixed interest products and I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues across a number of these."
