RELATED TOPICS

Schroders has appointed Daniel Imhof to the newly-created role of head of global sales.

Imhof will be responsible for the firm’s sales structure globally and its evolution to meet our clients’ changing needs and our broadening product suite.

He will also focus on the development of the skills of its sales teams.

He will be based in London and report to John Troiano (pictured), global head of distribution.

Imhof has 25 years’ experience at UBS Wealth Management, most recently as global head of portfolio specialists, where he was responsible for the distribution of investment solutions and investment funds across client segments globally.

Troiano says: “Our clients’ needs are changing significantly. The creation of this new role reflects our broadening product suite and the requirement for our sales people to possess specialist knowledge across all asset classes. Daniel brings with him a wealth of experience and we look forward to welcoming someone of his calibre to the company.”

Imhof says: “Over the years I have worked closely with Schroders and witnessed first hand the quality of the people and investment capabilities across all asset classes. I am delighted to join this firm with its extensive geographic footprint and more than two centuries of heritage. I look forward to working with the sales and product teams to develop the global distribution business further.”
