Schroders strengthens fixed income business with credit specialist

RELATED TOPICS

Schroders has strengthened its fixed income team with the appointment of a credit specialist who will work closely with the firm’s global distribution network and clients to continue delivering innovative investment strategies.

Sriram Reddy (pictured), has joined from Blackrock, as an Investment Director focused on Schroders credit strategies. He will report to Jonathan Harris, Investment Director for pan-European and Global Credit Strategies.

Based in London, Reddy will liaise between clients and Schroders’ investment team, helping to design purpose-built credit strategies that meet the future investment challenges faced by clients worldwide.

He spent over a decade at BlackRock, joining what was originally Barclays Global Investors in 2005, where he has built experience in portfolio management and institutional sales.

Since 2011, he was a Global Fixed Income Product Strategist, focused on institutional clients.

Jonathan Harris, Investment Director, Schroders, says: “Sriram’s arrival underlines Schroders’ commitment to understanding the investment needs of our clients and delivering that through a diverse range of well-designed credit strategies.

“We are always looking at ways in which we can improve the investment outcomes of our clients through credit, and the hire of Sriram expands our ability to do that.”
