RELATED TOPICS

Société Générale Securities Services has won seven mandates in Italy since the beginning of this year, including several pension funds.

With EUR760bn in assets under custody and EUR26bn in assets under administration as at 30 June 2009, these wins make SGSS the second largest securities services provider in the Italian market in terms of custody, fund administration and transfer agency.

The new mandates involve the provision of custody, trustee and fund administration services.

The mandates are for CAAM SGR (20 funds with an asset value of EUR1,300m); Pension Fund FON. TE (four funds with an asset value of EUR800m); Pension Fund Priamo (two funds with an asset value of EUR450m); Pension Fund Previmoda (four funds with an asset value of EUR350m); Pension Fund Byblos (three funds with an asset value of EUR300m); Raetia RE (six funds); and Sator SGR (two funds).

Other mandates won since the beginning of the year represent additional assets under administration of EUR1bn.

SGSS has developed a strong position in the Italian market since its purchase of UniCredit’s securities services business three years ago.
