Specialist pensions law firm Arc Pensions Law appoints Legal Director in London office

Specialist pensions law firm, Arc Pensions Law, has appointed Kris Weber as a Legal Director based in the firm’s London office. Weber joins Arc from Slaughter and May, where he was a solicitor in the pensions team.Weber is a well-known figure in the pensions industry and has over 25 years’ legal experience, advising both trustees and employers on the full spectrum of pensions law issues. He has practised pensions since the mid-1990s and has been a partner at several well-known law firms including Charles Russell Speechlys and Wedlake Bell. 

Weber has served on the Main Committee of the Association of Pension Lawyers (including a four-year term as Secretary) and on the Legislation Committee of the Society of Pension Professionals. He currently sits on the editorial board of Practical Law Pensions and is the author of the Scheme Funding, Surpluses and Deficits chapters in Tolley’s Pensions Law.

Weber says: “I am tremendously excited to be joining Arc Pensions Law. The firm has a strong practice and a pre-eminent reputation, and I am relishing the opportunity to add to its compelling offering.”
