Pali Capital, an independent global financial services firm, has appointed Stephen Bonebrake as a managing director in investment banking.

Bonebrake will focus on private placements for public companies, including registered direct offerings and PIPEs. He will report to David Boris, head of investment banking.

‘Private placements are an area where we can make a measurable impact for our clients,’ says Boris. ‘Stephen’s industry knowledge and impressive track record will allow us to significantly expand our product line and further build and diversify our franchise.’

‘The opportunity to join Pali and help grow the private placement effort was extremely compelling,’ adds Bonebrake. ‘The firm has a formidable platform and I look forward to leveraging the assets of the entire company to deliver cutting edge solutions for our clients.’

Bonebrake joins Pali from Libertas Capital Americas, a middle-market investment banking firm with offices in London, Dubai, and Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was a managing director and head of equity capital markets at SMH Capital in New York. Earlier in his career, he led Cowen’s technology investment banking efforts in Europe.
