TMF Group, a provider of high value global business services to clients operating and investing internationally, has appointed Sue Lawrence (pictured) as Managing Director for the UK.

Lawrence takes over from Michael Adams, who now takes on the role of Global Head of Structured Finance Services on a permanent basis.

Lawrence joins TMF Group following an eight-year career with Capita, where she was a Managing Director in the Asset Services Division. Before joining Capita, Sue held a variety of roles with the Bank of New York and BNP Paribas Securities Services as well as a number of other global financial institutions. During her career, Sue has developed particular expertise within financial markets, including funding structures, secured financing, debt capital markets and securitisations.

Lawrence has a keen interest in corporate governance, is a qualified Chartered Director and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

At TMF Group, Lawrence’s primary role will be to lead and further develop the professional services currently offered to clients from offices in London, Luton and Brighton.

Lawrence says: "I'm excited to be joining TMF Group at a time when the positive UK economy is creating increased opportunities both locally and internationally. The business has a great reputation built from its global reach combined with an excellent team and strong service capabilities.”

Juraj Gerzeni, Regional Director for EMEA, says: “Sue’s combination of experience in the UK corporate services market plus her deep knowledge of the financial markets makes her ideally suited to this role, especially as Structured Financial Services is one of the core service lines within TMF Group. We are very fortunate to have her on board.”
