T Rowe Price to move to new London office

RELATED TOPICS

Global investment firm T Rowe Price has announced its intention to relocate its current London office in Queen Victoria Street to new premises in Paternoster Square in early 2023.

Warwick Court has been chosen to accommodate the company’s growth and provide a dynamic and sustainable workplace for all London based associates on one site. T Rowe Price International Ltd has agreed to the heads of terms for up to 130,000 square feet of office space.

This location will offer a wide mix and choice of spaces to support both individual and collaborative work. The communal areas include roof terraces with views of the City and St Paul’s Cathedral; an atrium; a café area and tea points; and well-equipped end-of-journey facilities with showers, 280 cycle racks and locker space.

An important consideration in the choice of the new location was the alignment of Warwick Court’s sustainable credentials with T. Rowe Price’s commitment to the environment. Redeveloped by Mitsubishi Estate London Ltd. and Stanhope PLC, the building will provide significant embodied carbon savings. It will target an A Rating in energy performance and a BREEAM Excellent certification.

Robert Higginbotham, Head of Global Distribution at T Rowe Price, says: “T Rowe Price has been in the City of London since 1979. While we plan for the relocation of our London office, what doesn’t change is our commitment to our associates, clients and our community. Moving to Warwick Court will support the firm’s collaborative culture by providing more workspaces for all associates in a single site and drive our continued focus on sustainability in a more modern and environmentally efficient building.”

Justin Thomson, Head of International Equity and Co-Head of Global Equity, comments: “Staying in the City of London helps us maintain access to our clients and attract and retain top talent. This move represents our continued commitment to the growth of our business in EMEA. It also highlights our commitment to providing a workplace environment that enables productivity, enhances well-being, promotes resiliency to future change and supports a flexible and collaborative approach to work.”

T Rowe Price was represented by JLL, Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of Mitsubishi and Stanhope.
