TCP Global launches fixed income strategies

TCP Global Investment Management, an SEC registered investment advisory firm, has launched its fixed income strategies, including core, core plus and other products.

The strategies will be led by Jerry Thunelius who joins TCP Global as managing partner, head of fixed income.

Guillen, managing partner and chief operating officer of TCP Global. “Jerry Thunelius’ top-down sector rotation approach coupled with a bottom-up analysis has proven very successful for his fixed income clients. Jerry is also well regarded for his macro-economic thoughts and timely opinions across all market sectors.”

Thunelius has over 20 years of broad fixed income investment experience in managing core, core plus and other fixed income strategies. Most recently, he served as the director of fixed income management at Oppenheimer Capital, an independent unit of Allianz Global Investors.

Prior to this, Thunelius was the chief investment officer at Gartmore Morley Financial and previously led the long-term taxable fixed income group at Dreyfus.

The fixed income team includes senior portfolio managers Michael Allen and Martin Fetherston, together bringing an average of 20 years’ experience. In addition, Brad Goldman, managing director, fixed income marketing and client service, joins TCP Global after almost 22 years with the Oppenheimer Capital unit of Allianz Global Investors.
