TMF Group expands MIT service offering in Australia

RELATED TOPICS

TMF Group, a provider of trust and fiduciary services, has entered an alliance in Australia with Evolution Trustees to expand its local service offering for international clients.

TMF’s services include investment management; trustee and custody; fund accounting; and corporate services, including company secretarial and registry services.

The combination of TMF Group’s experience in real estate and infrastructure and Evolution Trustees’ specialised Australian trustee capability provides an alternative for offshore investors.

TMF Group’s global head of alternative investments Bruno Bagnouls (pictured) says: “Given TMF Group’s global heritage in trustee and fiduciary services, Australia is a natural market for us to scale up in. Our goal is to leverage our knowledge and scale to offer the best solutions for global clients.”

Catherine Caradus, senior director private equity and real estate for Asia Pacific at TMF Group, says: “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with Evolution Trustees to further expand our service offering to support our international real estate clients and foreign investors with MIT compliance. I am sure that this alliance will also lead to other opportunities in the broader Australian capital markets.”

CEO of Evolution Trustees Rupert Smoker adds: “This alliance with TMF Group brings great opportunities to harness global demand for high quality Australian assets. The Australian MIT services market needs more competition, and our partnership will undoubtedly drive benefits for clients.”
