Transaction Network Services (TNS) launched its TNSXpress product suits at the FIA Expo in Chicago.
TNSXpress includes TNS Layer 1, TNS Managed Hosting and TNS Market Data. This combined offering provides ultra-low latency connectivity and covers a significantly expanded global footprint.
“TNSXpress is redefining the reasons why financial services firms outsource their trading operations,” says Scott Feagans, VP of Technology and Strategy of TNS’ Financial Services business. “It is an innovative, robust and far-reaching suite that offers a value proposition unmatched by any other single-source provider.”
TNS Layer 1 simplifies the network with single switch hops and eradicates the need for multiple switches, offering speeds as low as 5-95 nanoseconds.
“Our TNS Layer 1 solution is up to 10 times faster than traditional layer 3 architectures,” adds Feagans. “It offers reliable superior performance at a lower total cost of ownership. We are proud to be the first, and currently only, managed service provider that can offer Layer 1 on a global scale. TNS is the pre-eminent provider for high frequency, low latency, global offerings and can comprehensively meet traders’ connectivity and market data requirement through a single-source agreement.”
The TNS Market Data service offers a more cost-effective way of accessing exchanges and market data by leveraging shared connections for multicast feeds.
“At its core, the TNSXpress product family is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering which means traders have less hardware and data space requirements,” says Feagans. “TNSXpress captures and synchronizes both market data and client orders with high precision accuracy. Clients can also create performance intelligence insights into individual trades, the managed network and all systems hosted within TNSXpress. This can be used for back testing, statistical analysis and AI applications.”
