Veteran adviser Peter R Hecht joins Janney from UBS

RELATED TOPICS

Janney Montgomery Scott has appointed 22-year industry veteran Peter R Hecht as first vice president/wealth management in Janney’s Mount Laurel, New Jersey branch office.

Hecht joins Janney along with Steven Ries, account executive, and brings with him over USD100m in assets.

“With over two decades of financial services experience under his belt, Peter is highly regarded in the industry,” says Jerry Lombard, president of the firm’s private client group. “His unwavering commitment to exceed his clients’ expectations reflects Janney’s core goals and values, and we are excited that he has joined our team.”

Including Hecht, the firm has added 25 financial advisers since the beginning of the year.

Before Janney, Hecht was associated with UBS for more than 16 years, where he served as vice president/investments. Ries, a 17-year veteran, has worked alongside Hecht in the Hecht Investment Group for nearly six years.
