Morgan Stanley Investment Management Closes fourth Global Infrastructure Fund at USD4.1 Billion

RELATED TOPICS

Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP), the private infrastructure investment team within Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), has announced that it has raised USD4.1 billion for North Haven Infrastructure Partners IV (NHIP IV).

The firm writes that NHIP IV includes some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated institutional infrastructure investors, including public and private pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies.

Markus Hottenrott, Chief Investment Officer for Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners says: “With our nearly two-decade track record of differentiated deal sourcing through our network of relationships and Morgan Stanley’s global franchise, we will seek to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors by identifying assets with long useful lives that perform essential services to society while generating stable, predictable cash flows that are linked to inflation.”

Part of MSIM’s USD240 billion alternatives business, MSIP is a global infrastructure platform that invests in assets that provide essential public goods and services, with the potential for value creation through active asset management. Consistent with its predecessor funds, North Haven Infrastructure Partners IV will target investments in transportation infrastructure, digital infrastructure, energy transition, and utilities.
