About us
Institutional Asset Manager is a daily, live, digital news service for the institutional asset management industry. Founded in 2013, the title brings news, analysis, comment and interviews on all the key stories in the institutional asset management sector in real time but also collated into a weekly newsletter, published on Friday.
Chandler Publishing is an independent financial publishing company which was founded in 2021 and has three digital investment titles in its portfolio: ETF Express, Institutional Asset Manager and Wealth Adviser.
Beverly Chandler
Managing Editor
Beverly Chandler has been a financial journalist for longer than she cares to be reminded. She lives in Oxfordshire with her rescue dog who is familiar to anyone who has done a Teams interview with her. You might also know that she is originally from the Isle of Wight.
Imogen Rostron
Head of Operations
Imogen Rostron is head of operations and events for Chandler Publishing. She was more used to wrangling wedding guests at one of Oxford’s more famous museums but has taken to managing Chandler Publishing’s events with ease. She is also our go-to lady when something doesn’t work on our laptops.
Philippa Aylmer
Writer
Philippa Aylmer is a freelance financial writer based in London. She began her career in the late 90s writing about emerging markets for the Euromoney titles while living in Pakistan. Since then she has covered hedge funds, ETFs, wealth management and fintech.
When not writing about investment, you will probably find her honing her art skills at a life drawing class.
Harriet O’Brien
Writer
Harriet O’Brien began her journalism career many years ago, working (with Beverly Chandler) on an FT publication. She has subsequently been an editor and also a travel writer (resonating with a childhood in Asia) for the Independent, the Guardian and the Daily Telegraph. She has written two books and lives in the Cotswolds.
Bailey McCann
Writer
Bailey McCann is a financial journalist. As a reporter, Bailey covers the full scope of institutional and retail asset management, family offices and wealth management. Her byline has also appeared in Barrons, CIO Magazine, Citywire, Institutional Investor, Pensions and Investments, Nikkei Asian Review, Wall Street Journal and elsewhere.
Gill Wadsworth
Editor
Gill Wadsworth has more than 20 years’ experience in financial journalism.
She specialises in institutional investment and has worked for several Financial Times Business titles including Pensions Week (now titled Pensions Expert) and FT Mandate. She has also written for the FT’s weekly fund management title FTfm, The Economist, Politico.
Gill has been a freelancer since 2008 and is a regular contributor to Institutional Asset Management and ETF Express.
Fiona Nicolson
Editor
Fiona Nicolson has been a freelance financial and investment journalist for 15 years, working with a wide range of publications on news and features. She also has seven years’ experience as an in-house, contract investment writer, editor and communications manager for a number of global asset managers. After enjoying life in London for 10 years, Fiona has now returned to live in her native Scotland.
Siobhan Brownlow
Graphic Designer
Siobhan Brownlow is a freelance graphic designer trading as RSB design since 1992. She has worked on all three titles since their inception and is delighted to be working with Chandler Publishing. When she’s not busy being creative, you’ll find her out cycling in the Chiltern hills – trying to relive her glory days as an Ironman triathlete!
Philippa Gedge
Photographer
Philippa is a photographer specialising in portraits and spends most of her time doing corporate headshots, events and weddings. Philippa’s work has taken her all over the world from weddings in New Zealand and the West Indies to conferences in Singapore and all over Europe. She is mummy to a fire-cracker of a toddler and has recently moved to the country but spends most of her working life in London still.
