Axon launches Application Compliance Tool

RELATED TOPICS

Axon financial systems, a specialist in technology-enabled market data management, has launched its new Application Compliance Tool (ACT), which gives customers a better handle on managing their market data application workflows and compliance reporting obligations.

The launch of ACT marks the expansion of the AxonWorks group, a set of tools designed to empower customers to manage their market data usage and compliance more efficiently and without the intervention of third parties. It also comes at a time when compliance is a hot topic across the industry with MiFID II on the horizon.

By allowing clients to manage their market data applications workflow, from on-boarding right through to regular re-certification, ACT will significantly reduce the endless documents and time and effort spent on the compliance process. In addition, by leveraging Axon’s industry-leading exchange compliance database, PEAR, it also helps data users identify licensing and policy requirements, essential for achieving the most accurate reporting results.

“ACT is a hugely beneficial tool for data users with high volumes and complex user structures,” says Aaron Garforth, Chief Information Officer at Axon. “ACT users can create a bespoke online questionnaire to consolidate their organisation’s application usage. Incorporating automated scheduling and reminder emails, the tool allows clients to consolidate all their application usage data, hopefully removing the stress normally associated with compliance audit preparation. ACT will significantly reduce time and costs spent on the exchange data compliance reporting process for organisations with multiple users and applications such as large tier-one banks and data vendors.”

The launch of ACT also coincides nicely with Axon’s 3rd birthday celebrations. Established in 2014, with Axon PEAR as its key product, the company has gone from strength to strength by using technology to streamline market data reporting and administration, to achieve significant success, with a growing team of experts and the Axon product platform now boasting a full range of products and services to complement PEAR.

Axon is recognised by the industry today as a leader in its field, boasting tier one banks, mid-size financial institutions and hedge fund companies amongst its growing list of clients.
