ebi and Amundi launch SRI index-based MPS range

Discretionary fund manager ebi Portfolios, and asset manager Amundi have launched the SRI portfolio range, a suite of low-cost model portfolios, designed for investors seeking a globally diversified SRI solution, investing in passively managed funds providing exposure to best-in-class ESG-rated equities and ESG-screened bonds globally.

UBS Asset Management launches ETF tracking new green bond index

UBS Asset Management (UBS AM) has announced the launch of a green bond exchange traded fund (ETF) that tracks the new Bloomberg MSCI Global Green Bond 1-10 Year Sustainability Select index. This index is based on the Bloomberg MSCI Global Green Bond index, with additional sustainability considerations.

Index firm MerQube raises USD22m with Series B Fundraising led by Intel Capital 

Index creators MerQube has announced USD22 million raised in Series B funding, in an investment round led by Intel Capital with participation from new investor Allianz Life Ventures, and existing investors Citi, J.P. Morgan, Laurion Capital Management and UBS.  In conjunction with the financing, David R. Mueller, Intel Capital Investment Director, will join MerQube’s board of directors.

BMLL adds Cboe Europe Indices to product suite

Data and analytics provider BMLL has announced that Cboe Europe Indices are now available within the BMLL suite of products, writing that this complements existing Cboe historical data for Europe, US and Japan which is already offered in the BMLL products.

WTW research shows diverse investment teams outperform

New analysis released by WTW has revealed that an investment team with a greater level of diversity leads to better investment outcomes. In the company’s new paper, Diversity in the asset management industry: on the right track but at the wrong pace, data shows that investment teams in the top quartile of gender diversity outperform the bottom quartile by 45bps per annum in terms of net excess returns.
