RIMES Technologies offers free access to RIMES Feed Audit

RELATED TOPICS

RIMES, a specialist in data management and RegTech solutions, is helping firms reduce disruption to business caused by remote working, by providing its Feed Audit tool to clients free of charge. The Feed Audit, part of RIMES Online, RIMES’ next-generation web-enabled client portal, allows users to access their ‘as-delivered’ data files saving them the need to access their in-house archives remotely. This allows RIMES’ clients to continue meeting regulatory demands for auditing, as well as improve data governance, insight and efficiency.

In their normal operations, clients would access RIMES delivered-data directly from by file transfer protocol (FTP), although many clients are finding internal FTP access is now not readily available to them in their remote set up.

The news comes at a time when data providers are adjusting pro-forma data, and index rebalancing is taking place with unprecedented frequency, making it harder for investment managers to manage their data.

Rhys Chapman, EVP, Global Head of Client Services, RIMES, says: “We see our services as an extension of our clients’ businesses, and we’ve been working hard to ensure that their data continues to remain accurate and timely, regardless of what’s happening in the market. That’s why in addition to continuation of service, we’ve been offering flexible service extensions and scale to support new demand.

“The RIMES Feed Audit is just one of the many tools offered as part of RIMES Online to help our clients manage the complexity of today’s data landscape – both for those looking to protect operations, and those continuing with more proactive, strategic activities in mind. We’re encouraged by the additional uptake from our clients and have received very positive feedback on its capabilities.”
